TEA - TOGETHER, EVEN A P A R T

LIVE PIANO, GENTLE RESET, DESIGNED FOR BUSY DAYS

Together, Even Apart - TEA Lounge Live

Calm, piano-led diabetes and heart-health conversations live on TikTok every Sunday 8pm - 9pm UK time, plus focused diabetes sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Doctor-led, gentle education with live piano, designed for busy people and healthcare professionals who need a calm place to learn.

Current TEA schedule: Sunday 8-9pm (TikTok @smlpian0), Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8-9pm for structured diabetes topics.

Sunday TEA Lounge

Calm, reset with piano, gentle myth-busting, CUP walkthroughs, and box breathing, aimed at the general public and people living with long-term conditions.

TEA Diabetes Tues/Thurs

More structured, guideline-aligned diabetes discussions (GLP-1s, cardio-renal risk, complications, inequalities), aimed at both people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals.

TEA for Professionals

Occasional TEA-for-HCP evenings, where content closely mirrors current guidelines and CPD-style teaching.

We are moving toward a logical walk-through of the new diabetes guidelines across multiple TEA episodes, with future topics co-chose with the community.

CUP: A calm, practical way to analyse online health claims.

  • C = Claim (what exactly is being promised?)

  • U = Underlying evidence (what data, which guideline?)

  • P = Personal context (does this apply to you, given your medications/risks/values?)

CUP will feature in Sunday TEA lives as we calmly unpack influencer claims about diabetes, weight loss and heart-health.

CUP Method and Box Breathing

Box Breathing

Try our 4-4-4-4 box breathing track, composed and recorded for TEA to help you calm your nervous system before we dive into heavier topics.

The TEA Community

More than 14,000 people now follow TEA on TikTok, joining from across the UK and beyond for calm, evidence-based evenings by the fire.

The TEA Lives Map is a celebration of connection across the globe. It shows where our community members are tuning in, sharing in a journey of music, learning, wellness and storytelling. Every red pin represents a life touched - through music, education, or the simple joy of coming together - reminding us that music, healthcare and creativity are universal languages.

The map is more than geography, it’s a tapestry of emotion, culture, and community, where voices from each corner of the world meet to support one another.

Together, even apart, we create a global family united by curiosity, care, and the shared rhythms life.

TEA on Instagram

We are steadily growing TEA’s presence on Instagram, and plan to start live streams there once we reach 1,000 followers (currently at just over 100).

TEA is moderated, stigma-sensitive, and not a replacement for individual medical advice.
